Bridgestone Porsche Manfield 22-23rd November

Round 2 of the Bridgestone Porsche series was held at Manfield over the weekend of the 22nd and the 23rd of November. 26 Porsches lined up for qualifying session on a warm, still Saturday. Mike Baker took pole.

Race 1 Results Class A was Mike, Jeff and Paul; Class B: Andy Gale, Chris Thompson -Class C: Tony Patmore All 26 cars made it home.A good local crowd turned out for Sunday's racing which race 2 (handicap).Brent Corlett managed to keep them all at bay, taking line and Class C honors, and also putting in his best lap time for the weekend.

Race 2  results Class A: Conal, Jeff and Greg; Class B: Greg Taylor, Andy Gale;Class C: Brent, Robert and Tony Patmore.

For the 10 lap race 3  Mike Baker and Jeff Lowrey again competing for turn 1 chased hard by the rest of the pack.

Race winner was Mike Baker, 2nd, Jeff Lowrey and 3rd, Ali Taylor. A Class honors the same. 4th was Brian McGovern, putting in his best time for the weekend, and 5th Brent Greer. Class B: Andy Gale, Greg Taylor; Class C: Tony Patmore, Robert Dong and Nik Haden.
